About A1toolstore

A-1 Lock & Tool now known as a1toolstore was founded in 1985, over 20 years ago. We are a small, family run business who sells retail to the public and wholesale to retailers (for wholesale pricing, please call 352-821-9795). We are different than other internet companies, because we are real people that care about our customers. We always try to work with individuals or companies to provide them with the best quality product for the lowest price to suit their needs or demands.

At our beginnings we started selling at various outdoor swap meets or flea markets and moved into automotive shows all over the country. For about the first ten years of the corporation we were located in Miami, Florida selling mostly out of Ft. Lauderdale. We have since relocated, to the central Florida area. We owned a store on the West coast, but decided to reorganize the structure of our company when gas prices started to climb.

Since this time, our store has closed giving us an opportunity to focus on where we want to go from here. Reorganizing and restructuring has lead us to place our emphasis on our online business. We are progressing on the web and would like our customer base to grow. As of 2009, we have been selling on the Internet for about 5 years. With the aid of Ebay and other sales sites, we have been given the opportunity to expand our knowledge and earned the experience that is necessary to operate an online sales business.

Our website is under constant construction so it will be more user friendly, appealing to the eye, and most importantly suit the needs of all of our customers. We are working on a member only section, which will allow for the use of coupons and set discounts for repeat customers. New products and features are added all the time, so look forward to an excellent customer experience and new additions to come like a listing of our blogs, what we like to do and causes we support as individuals and a company. While we are working on listing our large inventory, if you see something that you like, anywhere that we sell, contact us with a list of items you are interested in and we will give you the best pricing and shipping options available to you in your area. We do ship internationally, but are limited in our knowledge of shipping and customs, so each individual international case will be different.
